In the early spring we had the opportunity of creating some gorgeous paper goods for a styled wedding shoot organized by Britt of blk Photography and Veronica of Veronica Young Photography. These two seemed super chill and laid back– they sent an inspiration board with a handful of photos of what they were going for and said just run with it, we trust you! It’s so amazing when clients or other vendors completely trust your expertise and artistic vision! Arriving at the venue that day, beneath that chill and laid back exterior, these two ladies had an amazing drive and passion for their vision and were working hard to execute it flawlessly.
The shoot was held at The Pour Vineyard in Red Bud, Illinois. They’ve been around for a few years hosting wedding ceremonies, but recently opened up their entire venue to full weddings (ceremony + reception), including their amazing barn that’s been in the family for generations.
Our bride had two wedding gowns from White Traditions Bridal House, the first of which had this gorgeous blue tulle skirt and delicate lace top. And that bouquet from SS Wedding Designs was beautiful, just dripping with berries and lacy greenery!
This frame and easel are now available to rent.
For the invitations, we wanted to keep the stationery light, bright and fresh for this early spring wedding. We also really wanted to highlight the unique location of the wedding, the rustic farm winery venue. We featured watercolor grapevines on the vellum belly band that wrapped around the invitation. A custom venue map included illustrations of the barn that is unique to the property. A little bit of rustic glamour was added with bits of hand-applied gold foil on the map insert.
After dinner the lovebirds headed out to this super adorable horse-trailer-turned-mobile-bar from The Wandering Sidecar Bar Company to create some cocktails and some serious chemistry…
… and to toast their marriage with some wine from The Pour Vineyard!
At sunset it was time for a quick dress change, romantic stroll and then a boat ride on the lake.
So glad we got to be a part of this special spring day! Thank you, Britt and Veronica!
